Dark Horse Comics acaba de abrir un lugar en su paguina solo para los fanaticos de Umbrella Academy llamada UMBRELLA ACADEMY ZONE donde encontraras noticias,foros y muchas cosas mas, aqui esta el mensaje de bienvenida de Gerard:

What a year it's been!

Our noble editor, Scott Allie, asked me to write the opening to our official Dark Horse Umbrella Academy Zone, which is really exciting since there is no official website for the comic, only a MySpace page.

When we had talked about having a Zone a little under a year ago, we had a lot of ideas of what it should be, and what I wanted more than anything was a place where our readership could get news, talk about issues, look at some art, and connect with each other on the message boards.

I also wanted a place where I felt like I could write about what I wanted, talk about the book when I wanted—and the same goes for everyone that works on the book. So you should expect to see little notes here and there from all of us, and we are going to do our best keeping up with that, though we're all really busy making the book.

As we start another semester at the Academy, I can say I am very excited about continuing the book, which was always supposed to be an ongoing saga, a book to share ideas and push the boundaries of a modern comic, always changing depending on what we wanted to say with each particular chapter. I have met some amazing people on this ride and made a family, not only in Dark Horse, but also in the creative team and every single person I meet that believes in this little comic. Winning the Eisner Award was a childhood dream of mine and Gabriel's; being nominated for the Harveys is a huge honor, and we're just going to keep doing what we have been doing -- telling the stories we want to tell. So, on behalf of the entire UA team, I welcome you to the Umbrella Academy Zone, ask you to play nice, respect each other, and try not to be late to class. Oh, and please try to stick to the point of the message boards -- to talk about the comic, share ideas, and have some fun.

Moda de TUA

En el pasado Motorokr 2008 se presento la banda Mindless self Indulgence donde toca el bajo la pareja sentimental de Gerard Way (creador del UMBRELLA ACADEMY), Lin-z se presento con un atuendo muy "umbrella" portandolo con motivo a la nominación de TUA en los Scream Awards.

nominados para numerosos premios en los Scream Awards de este año, el vocalista de My Chemical Romance platico con CBR News acerca de sus proximos proyectos en comics. “Estamos haciendo ‘Umbrella Academy’ series 2 ahora mismo, el cual saldra en Noviembre,” dice Way. “Habra algo el proximo año saldra en Dark Horse algo totalmente diferente a ‘Umbrella,’ Estoy muy contento por eso. Estoy trabajando en ellos con otro escritor, estoy muy contento de esto.” Way espera q el artista Gabriel Ba participe en el arte de su misterioso proyecto.
